Kylie Sonique Love, formerly known as just Sonique, is an American drag performer, actress and one of the Season 2 contestants of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she was placed 9th.
She would later return to compete on All Stars 6, which she went on to win, making herstory as the first transgender contestant to win an American series of RuPaul's Drag Race.
Name Origin
Sonique's drag name comes from the same-named British artist. She likes it because it sounds powerful (like sonic powers) and it's a one-word name, just as she wanted. She decided to go by her real full name, Kylie Sonique Love on All Stars 6, saying "you only do additions, never subtractions".[2]
