Kenya Olivera, formerly known as Kenya Michaels is a former Puerto Rican drag performer. She competed in Season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race.
After performing during the night of the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida in 2016, Kenya decided to retire from drag and has since delved into other areas.[citation needed]

Kenya is from the African country, and Michaels is in honor of the choreographer Mia Michaels, a dance teacher in Puerto Rico whom Kenya loves.[citation needed]
